UPDATE : 14 - 10 - 2011

So we survived the world cup here at the Holiday park, now as usual its the mad rush to get cars ready for the season. Luckily for Allen and Keegan the will be relaxing on the Gold Coast for opening, but at this stage it looks like josh could possibly make it to opening night.

The tank, has a fresh coat of paint and its engine sitting in. The Mac is just "hanging" with welding to be done, yet to be painted. The 46 ministock has had a slow start with a lazy teenager avoiding the shed, but heading to the painters tomorrow. the 64 ministock is painted and waiting to be put back together.

Have taken some photos today, Tank photo from last week as couldnt get one today. More photos in the off season 2011 album thought.

UPDATE : 25 - 08 - 2011

So just a small update, as you can imagine not alot of work got done in the shed last week with the snow and all. There is only so much you can warm up a shed.

Some photos below of what has been happening so far. 6 weeks until opening night, so we will see how it goes. Doesnt seem to be too much of a rush happening yet.

UPDATE : 24 - 07 - 2011

Ok so yes we have been really slack at updating our website so here goes. Being the middle of winter today it is absolutely FREEZING so josh and rhys have started working on the 4w Kahui Bus. As most people would have seen Allen has the Hutt Park Racing Bus already so we have started our own bus project.

Not much started with the cars. the 46w looks alot like it did and the end of the season with a rather thick coat of dust on it. Although to be fair getting our new Reception finished was our top priority.

The 4w Tank is currently only half a tank with the roll cage chopped off, it does however have a new tank body in preparation for the next season. And alot of paint thanks to 3yr old aliyah and some pink craft paint

The 64v Stockcar is looking awesome and POSSIBLY SOLD I think

The 46w ministock has been evicted from the shed and is chilling outside, while the 64w ministock has somehow managed to find its way to the top spot in the shed.

With the upcoming 21st of Ashlee and Liana Levien i think it may still be atleast a week before anyone does any dusting in this shed.

Update: 30 - 08 - 10

Wow! The team took the weekend off working in the shed to trek up to Hamilton for Mel and Shans 21sts. As all can imagine one twenty first is hard enough to organise but a 21st for twins! One can only imagine the stress on the saturday when the girls didnt have dresses or hair extensions.!!! But after all was said and done and an amazing night was had by all who were there it was definately a night to remember.

Happy Birthday girls hope the next 21 are as good for ya (and less stress for ya parents :) )

Update : 19 / 08 / 10

With the season fast approaching the team has been putting in long hours every week on all 3 cars. 46v is well underway with a whole new front bumper now welded on and ready to go, side rails and bumper stays already made just waiting to be put on. The 64v car is finally starting to resemble a car again with side rails now mounted and both front and rear bumpers finshed, with the boys working saturday hopefully the car will be welded to the jig to be rolled over and start the under side. 46v ministock is also having some modifications made with a new rear hoop and headplate being made, two side rails and front and rear bumper... good effort for a non contact class :) check out the updated photos and watch as the count down gets closer to opening night  - HP Team
